Text: John 7:17 "If any man
will [DESIRES, PAS] do his will, he shall know of the doctrine,
whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself."
Psalms 119:97 "O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all
the day."
Psalms 1:1-3 "Blessed is the man that walketh not
in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth
in the seat of the scornful. 2. But his delight is in the law
of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3. And
he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth
forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
Job 23:11-12 "My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and
not declined. 12. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his
lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary
food."
Acts 2:42 "..they continued
stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine.."
Acts 10:33 "Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well
done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to
hear all things that are commanded thee of God."
James 1:22-25 "But be ye doers
of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own
selves. 23. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he
is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24. For he
beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what
manner of man he was. 25. But whoso looketh into the perfect
law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being
not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be
blessed in his deed."
Matthew 7:24-27 "Therefore
whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him
unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25. And
[TEST] the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds
blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: [COULD NOT SHAKE
IT, LUKE 6:48] for it was founded upon a [THE] rock. 26. And every one
that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a
foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27. And
[SAME TEST] the rain descended, and the floods came, and the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great
was the fall of it."
Jeremiah 37:17 "Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the
king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from
the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be
delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon." RAIN, FLOODS, WIND...
Jeremiah 38:14 "Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the
prophet unto him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD:
and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from
me."
Jeremiah 38:15 "Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it
unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee
counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?"
Jeremiah 38:17 "Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the
LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go
forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this
city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:"
Jeremiah 38:19-20 "And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am
afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into
their hand, and they mock me. 20. But Jeremiah said, They shall not
deliver thee. Obey, I beseech thee, the voice of the LORD, which I
speak unto thee: so it shall be well unto thee, and thy soul shall live."
Jeremiah 38:24 "Then said Zedekiah unto Jeremiah, Let no man know
of these words, and thou shalt not die."
Jeremiah 39:4-7 "And it came to pass, that when Zedekiah the
king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled,
and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the
gate betwixt the two walls: and he went out the way of the plain. 5.
But the Chaldeans' army pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah
in the plains of Jericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him up to
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave
judgment upon him. 6. Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of
Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all
the nobles of Judah. 7. Moreover he put out Zedekiah's eyes, and
bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon."
Matthew 13:11-12 "He answered and
said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the
kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12. For whosoever hath,
to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not,
from him shall be taken away even that he hath."
Philippians 2:13 "For it is God
which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
Hebrews 13:21 "Make you perfect in
every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his
sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."
