MINISTRY OF JESUS
  • ONLY TO THE SAVED
  • Matthew 10:5-6  These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:  6  But go rather to the lost (straying) sheep of the house of Israel.
  • FEED THE SHEEP
  • Matthew 15:24  But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost (straying) sheep of the house of Israel.
  • Matthew 15:26  But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
3
WHO ARE THE LOST SHEEP?
  • Matthew 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
  • Luke 15:7  I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
  • 1 Peter 2:25  For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
  • Luke 12:32  Fear not, little flock (disciples); for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
4
MINISTRY TO GENTILES
  • MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM WAS NOT GIVEN TO GENTILES.
  • GENTILES WERE HEALED
  • Matthew 15:28  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman (Gentile from Canaan), great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
  • JESUS HEALED A CENTURION’S SERVANT
  • Matthew 8:5-7,13  And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,  6  And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.  7  And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 13  And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
5
THOSE GIVEN EARS TO HEAR
  • CAN KNOW THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM
  • Matthew 13:9-11  Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.  10  And the disciples came, … Why speakest thou unto them in parables?  11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (that do not have ears to hear) it is not given.
  • THEY CAN HEAR THE WORD OF GOD
  • Luke 8:8-11  … when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.  9  And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?  10  And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God:..  11  Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
  • Luke 11:28  ... blessed are they that hear [present active] the word of God, and keep [obey, present active] it.

GENDER, CASE, NUMBER
  • GENDER: Masculine, Feminine, and Neuter.
  • Words with the same gender could modify each other. Masculine words do not modify feminine word or neuter words. They must agree.
  • CASE: Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Vocative.
  • Words with the same case are nouns and pronouns that could be associated with each other if their number agrees. This called “words that are in agreement”.
  • NUMBER IN NOUNS, PRONOUNS, PARTICIPLES: Singular, Plural;
  • VERBS: person: first, second, third; singular or plural.
  • When studying the New Testament using the Greek Text you want to compare word with the same gender, case, number.
