Text: Genesis 6:8,9 "But Noah [rest/comfort] found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."
Genesis 6:11 "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence."
AS THE DAYS OF NOAH
Matthew 24:37-38 "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,"
Luke 20:34 "And Jesus answering said unto them, The children [sons] of this world [age] marry, and are given in marriage:"
LATTER TIMES
1 Timothy 4:1-3 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2. Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received &ldots;"
THE TIME HAS COME
2 Timothy 4:3-4 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

THE LAST DAYS
2 Timothy 3:1-4 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;"
LET US
Hebrews 4:16 "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace [through the Word] to help in time of need."
GRACE THROUGH THE WORD
2 Peter 1:2 "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,"
CONTENTMENT THROUGH GRACE
2 Corinthians 9:8 "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency [contentment] in all things, may abound to every good work:"
GROW IN GRACE
2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ&ldots;"
THE POWER OF CHRIST
2 Corinthians 12:9 "&ldots;My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. &ldots;that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Timothy 2:1 "&ldots; be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."
BE PERSUADED
Acts 13:43 "&ldots;Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God."
ACCEPTABLE SERVICE
Hebrews 12:28 "&ldots;let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:"
THE WORD OF HIS GRACE
Acts 20:32 "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified."
Genesis 7:5 "And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him." obedience
Luke 1:6 "And they [Zacharias, Elizabeth] were both righteous [G1342, just] before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless."
2 Peter 2:5 "&ldots; Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, &ldots;" which is by faith
Hebrews 11:7 "By faith Noah,&ldots;moved with fear, &ldots;became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."
SAVED BUT NOT JUST
Noah's wife, sons, and their wives were neither just nor lived by faith. SO IT IS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH
LOT, SAVED AND JUST BUT NO FAITH
2 Peter 2:7 "And delivered just [G1342] Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:"
DID NOT LIVE BY FAITH
Lot's wife and two daughters were saved but not just and could not live by faith.
JUST LIVE BY FAITH
Hebrews 10:38 "Now the just [G1342] shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."
BY FAITH NOAH
Hebrews 11:7 "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, &ldots;"
Exodus 12:5 "Your lamb shall be without blemish, &ldots;"
ABRAHAM WAS TO BE PERFECT
Genesis 17:1 "&ldots;the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, &ldots; walk before me, and be thou perfect."
WITHOUT BLEMISH
Genesis 24:3-4 "&ldots;that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, &ldots; 4. But &ldots; to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac."
Hebrews 2:16 "For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham."
Jeremiah 31:36-37 "If those ordinances [sun, moon, and sea] depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37.
