GOD TOOK ENOCH

24. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."

ENOCH WAS A PROPHET

Jude 1:14-15 "And Enoch also, the seventh [Spiritual number of perfection] from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

15. To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

WHY GOD TOOK ENOCH

Hebrews 11:5 "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God." BEFORE THE FLOOD!

 WE WILL BE TRANSLATED

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 "&ldots;Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: &ldots;for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

HOW CAN WE PLEASED GOD

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please [wellpleasing] him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

GOD IS WORKING IN US

Hebrews 13:21 "Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

PROVING WHAT IS PLEASING

Ephesians 5:8, 10-11 "For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:" 10. "Proving what is acceptable [wellpleasing] unto the Lord. 11. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness&ldots;"

SACRIFICE

Romans 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable [wellpleasing] unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable [wellpleasing], and perfect, will of God." WITH THE WORD

SERVING IN PEACE AND JOY

Romans 14:17-18 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable [wellpleasing] to God, and approved of men."

SERVING IN GRACE

Hebrews 13:21 "Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

Hebrews 13:15-16 "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Hebrews 12:28 "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably [wellpleasing] with reverence and godly fear:"

SACRIFICIAL GIVING

Philippians 4:17-18 "&ldots; I desire fruit that may abound to your account. 18. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God."

PRAISE, THANKS, DOING GOOD

Hebrews 13:15-16 "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16. But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

THE CARNAL DO NOT PLEASE GOD

Romans 8:7-8 "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God." GAL. 5:19-21

OUR AMBITION AND PURPOSE

Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."

Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Romans 14:17-18 "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men."

2 Corinthians 5:9-10 "Wherefore we labour [aspired to, have as ambition], that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted [wellpleasing] of him. 10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

PART OF THE CLOUD OF WITNESSES

Hebrews 12:1 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,"
