Text: John 19:34 "But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water."
Jude 1:3 "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, ..." jesus christ died
Blood is used 11 times in the book of Genesis and not a single time with reference to a sacrifice or offering made unto God. All but one have to do with the shedding of mans blood as when Cain killed Able.
The first mention of blood and the sacrifice is found in Exodus 12:7 "And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it." This was to protect the first born who would get the double portion inheritance.
Matthew 26:28 "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
Hebrews 2:3 "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord..." jesus christ shed his blood for the many
Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."
2 Timothy 1:9 "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling,... "
1 Thessalonians 2:12 "That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory."
Romans 5:14 "Nevertheless death [qa>natov] reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come."

THE GRACE GIFT
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of [the] sin [lawlessness] is [the] death [qanatov]; but the gift [grace gift] of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

1 John 2:25 "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life."
