Text: John 15:1-8 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman."
THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS NOT ANOTHER SPIRIT.
FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. NASB
THE FRUIT OF THE VINE IS WINE AND NOT ANOTHER VINE.
Judges 9:13 "And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man,...?"
THE FRUIT OF THE LIPS IS NOT MORE LIPS

THE FRUIT OF A CHRISTIAN IS NOT ANOTHER CHRISTIAN.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?"
TO HUMBLE AND TO PROVE
Deuteronomy 8:2-6 "And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. 3. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, ... 4. ... 5. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee. 6. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him."
We are the branches
Ezekiel 15:2-4 "Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest? 3. Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon? 4. Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?"
