FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. NASB

THE FRUIT OF THE VINE IS WINE AND NOT ANOTHER VINE.

Judges 9:13 "And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man,...?"

THE FRUIT OF THE LIPS IS NOT MORE LIPS

Hebrews 13:15 "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

THE FRUIT OF A CHRISTIAN IS NOT ANOTHER CHRISTIAN.

THE FRUIT OF A CHRISTIAN IS:

Revelation 4:11 "... for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

JESUS IS THE TRUE VINE

John 15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman."

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

THE VINE DRESSER

John 15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman."

John 15:2 "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit."

John 15:8 "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."

John 14:13 "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

Hebrews 12:5-7 "And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6. For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?"

TO HUMBLE AND TO PROVE

Deuteronomy 8:2-6 "And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. 3. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, ... 4. ... 5. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee. 6. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him."
