Matthew 22:14 "For many (not all) are called, but few
(even less) are chosen."
2 Timothy 1:9 "Who hath saved us, and called us with
an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own
purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world

priest) for the transgressors."
Hebrews 9:28 (NASB) "so Christ also, having been offered once to bear (G399,
bear the consequences of) the sins of many, (to them,
Christ) shall appear a second time for [leading to] salvation [through
faith, A mms] (so great salvation of Hebrews 2:3) without
reference to sin (blameless), to those (of
the many) who eagerly await Him."
2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have
fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I
have kept the faith (pleasing God, Heb. 11:6):
8. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown (for the coming
kingdom) of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge,
shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love
(eagerly await) his appearing."
