Sunday Morning: November 30, 2003
Text: Galatians
6:7-9 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for
whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8. For he that soweth
to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the
Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9. And let us not be
weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians
6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked
[present, to turn up the nose, despised]: for whatsoever a man [may]
soweth [present active subjunctive], that shall he also reap
(a cash crop).

. . hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the
days of old:. . . .

1:11-12 And God said, Let the earth bring
forth . . . 12. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding
seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was
in itself, after his kind . . .

kingdom of God.
2 Samuel
11:3-5 And David sent and inquired after
(no accident) the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba,

messengers, and took her;. . . 5. And the woman conceived,
2 Samuel
12:9-14 Wherefore hast thou despised the
commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed
(murder) Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his
wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the
children of Ammon.
10. Now therefore the sword shall never depart
from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of
Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. 11. Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I
will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I
will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy
neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun
(broad day light). 12. For thou didst it secretly:
but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
13. And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned
against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away
thy sin; thou shalt not die.
14. Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast

also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned
(suffer loss of a profitable crop).
Galatians 6:8 For . . .
he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap (works) life
