Text: Hebrews 11:1-2  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For by it the elders obtained a good report."

Hebrews 11:6  "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH

Hebrews 10:38  "Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him."

EXAMINE AND PROVE

2 Corinthians 13:5  "Examine [present active] yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove [present active] your own selves. Know [epiginwskw, present active] ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates [adokimov, disapproved]?"

FAITH WITHOUT LOVE

1 Corinthians 13:2  "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing."

FAITH WORKS BY LOVE

SPIRITUAL ARMOR

THIS IS LOVE

WORKS OF FAITH AND LOVE

James 2:14-17  "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15. If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16. And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."

WHEN WE LOVE THE BRETHREN

1 John 3:14-15  "We know that we have passed from [the] death [thanatos] unto life [verse 15, agelasting life], because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal [agelasting, kingdom age] life abiding in him."

EYE HATH NOT SEEN

1 Corinthians 2:9  "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

CROWN OF LIFE

RICH IN FAITH AND LOVE

BE PLEASING AND FRUITFUL
