FAITHFULNESS
Sunday Morning:

Text:
Hebrews 3:1-6
"Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the
Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; 2. Who was
faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all
his house. 3. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than
Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the
house. 4. For every house is builded by some man; but he that
built all things is God. 5. And Moses verily was faithful
in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to
be spoken after; 6. But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house
are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto
the end."
1 Peter 2:21
"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:"
Hebrews 12:2-3
"Looking [also “see how”] unto Jesus the author and finisher of
our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured
the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the
throne of God. 3. For consider [analogizomai,
analyze] him that endured such contradiction of sinners against
himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds."
2 Peter 1:17
"For he received from God the Father honour
and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the
excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
John 4:34
"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the
will of him that sent me, and to finish his work."

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who
shall give you that which is your own?"
