Text:
Hebrews 3:1
"Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling,
consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;"
Hebrews 6:1-6
"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us
go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of
repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2. Of the
doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the
dead, and of eternal judgment. 3. And this will we do, if God permit.
4. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and
have tasted of the heavenly [the (particular gift)] gift
[dwrea], and were made partakers (of the ministry) of
the Holy Ghost, 5. And have tasted the good word of God, and
the powers of the world [age] to come [present
active], 6. If they shall fall away, to renew them
again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God
afresh, and put him to an open shame."
Romans 5:15
"But not as the offence, so also is the free [carisma,
grace gift] gift. For if through the offence of one [the]
many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift
[dwrea (heavenly gift)]
by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto [the]
many."
Romans 6:22-23
"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to
God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end (of
faithful service) everlasting [aiwniov,
agelasting] life. 23. For the wages of sin is
death; but the gift [carisma,
grace gift] of God is eternal [aiwniov, agelasting]
life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
John 4:10
"Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift
[dwrea, gift by means of grace]
of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou
wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living
water."
John 4:13-14
"Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water
shall thirst again: 14. But [de,
on the other hand] whosoever drinketh [present active
participle, the one continuing to drink] of the water that I shall give
him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him
shall be in him a well of water springing up into
everlasting [aiwniov, agelasting]
life."

John 6:35
"And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh
[present middle participle, (as long as you are coming)] to me shall
never hunger; and he that believeth [present active
participle, (as long as you are believing)] on me shall never
thirst (John 4:14)."
John 7:37-38
"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and
cried, saying, If any man [one] thirst [present active
subjunctive, may be thirsting], let him come [present middle
imperative, continually come for himself] unto me, and drink [present
active imperative, continue to drink]. 38. He that believeth
[present active participle, as long as he continues to believe] on me,
as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of
living water."
Philippians 1:29 "For unto you it
is given [carizomai,
verb of grace gift] in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe [present
active, continue to believe] on him, but also to suffer [present
active, to continue to suffer] for his sake;"
Ephesians 4:7
"But unto every one of us is given grace according
to the measure [limited portion] of the gift [dwrea] of Christ."
Romans 12:3
"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among
you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to
think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure
of faith."
Luke 19:17-19
"And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been
faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. 18.
And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
19. And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities."
Revelation 17:14 "These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall
overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they
that are with him are called (may be the lords), and
chosen (may be the kings), and faithful (both have to be faithful)."
Matthew 20:23
"And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be
baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right
hand (honored with a gold watch), and on my left, is
not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared
of my Father."
Ephesians 2:8
"For by (measured) grace are [ye endure (the cup)] ye
saved [perfect passive participle, ye, having been saved] through
(measured) faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God:"
GOD IS ABLE
2
Corinthians 9:8 "And
God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that
ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every
good work:"
2 Corinthians 9:15 "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift [dwrea, gift by means of grace]."
1 Peter 1:8-9
"Whom having not seen, ye love [present active indicative];
in whom, though now ye see [present active participle] him
not, yet believing [present active participle], ye
rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9.
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your
souls."
Romans 5:17
"For if by one man's offence [fall away] death reigned by
one; much more they (the many who are called) which receive
[present active, continue to receive] abundance of
grace and of the gift [dwrea,
the message of agelasting life] of righteousness (of faith)
shall reign [as a lord or king] in life (in the millennial
kingdom) by one, Jesus Christ.)"
Romans 5:21
"That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace
reign through righteousness (obedience) unto [leading
to] eternal [agelasting] life by Jesus Christ our
Lord."
2
Timothy 2:12-13 "If we suffer
[endure, (stay on the job)], we shall also reign with him:
if we deny (get fired) him, he also will deny us:
13. If we believe [present active] not, yet he
abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself."
Luke 17:7-10 "But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding
cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and
sit down to meat? 8. And will not rather say unto him, Make ready
wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and
drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? 9. Doth he thank
[not a verb but a noun, grace] that servant [Greek text:
mh
(not) ecei
(esteemeth) carin
(grace) to
(for the) doulw (servant)] [for that servant esteemeth not grace]
because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not (no!).
10. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which
are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants:
we have done that which was our duty to do."
