Text: Romans 5:8-21
Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son,. . . ."
John 1:29
"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold
the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the
world."
Romans 5:9
"Much more then, being now
justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him."
1 John 1:7-9
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship
one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all
sin. 8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us. 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Romans 8:33-34
"Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is
God that justifieth. 34. Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is
risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh
intercession for us."
CHARGEABLE
ACTS
Ephesians 5:3-6
"But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4. Neither
filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not
convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5. For this ye know, that no
whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is
an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of
Christ and of God. 6. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for
because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of
disobedience."
Hebrews 3:10-11
"Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway
err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11.
So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)"
LOSS OF
KINGDOM LIFE
James 5:19-20 "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and
one convert him; 20. Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner
(brother) from the error of his way shall save a soul [or
life] from death [qanatos. (loss of preferred kingdom life, inheritance)], and
shall hide a multitude of sins."
Romans 5:10
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by
the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved (from
the wrath, v. 9) by his life (as our high priest, 1 John
1:9).”
James 4:4
"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the
world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is
the enemy of God."
SELF WILLED
Luke 19:27
"But those mine enemies, which would not that I should
reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before
me."
Romans 5:11
“And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus
Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement [reconciliation].”
HUSBAND AND
WIFE
1 Corinthians 7:11
"But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled
to her husband: and let not the husband put away his
wife."
Colossians 1:21-23
"And you, that were sometime alienated
and enemies in your mind by wicked works,
yet now hath he reconciled
22.
In the body of his
flesh through [the] death, to present you holy and
unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23.
If ye continue
in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from
the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to
every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;"
