Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:9
"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but (for us) to obtain [purchase, possess, gain] salvation [deliverance] by our Lord Jesus Christ,"1 Corinthians 3:13-15 "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day (millennial day, 1000 years) shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward (declared in the millennium). 15. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss (declared for the millennial day): but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

John 12:39-40
John 6:64 "But there are some of you that believe [present active] not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed [present active] not, and who should betray him."

ADAM AND EVE - One law in the garden, don't eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
ADAM TO NOAH - No law given - Talked to man through personal appearances dreams, and visions.
NOAH TO MOSES - One law given, capital punishment for killing another man who is made in the image of God.
MOSES TO CHRIST - The moral and ceremonial law given. John 1:17 "For the law was given by Moses, ..." Galatians 3:23 "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed."
CHRIST TO TRIBULATION - Faith - Galatians 3:24 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith."
BY FAITH IN HEBREWS 11
Hebrews 11:7-8 "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 8. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."
FAITH WAS RECKONED THEN
Romans 4:8-9 "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute [reckon, count, give credit] sin. 9. Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness."
NO SINGLE CONSEQUENCE, YET ALL UNDESIRABLE
PRISON
Matthew 5:25 "Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison."
OUTER DARKNESS
Matthew 25:14 "For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods."
Matthew 25:30 "And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
MANY HAVE EARS TO HEAR

BE REMOVED FROM THE KINGDOM
Luke 13:27-28 "But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity [no law, lawless]. 28. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out."
CAST FORTH AND BURNED
John 15:6 "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."
GEHENNA, GARBAGE DUMP
Luke 12:5 "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed (the body) hath power to cast into hell [geenna, Gehenna]; yea, I say unto you, Fear him."
OUTSIDE
Matthew 25:11-13 "Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13. Watch therefore, for ye (the saved) know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."
TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN
Luke 12:47-48 "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."
AFTER THE DAY HAS DECLARED IT
Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death [qanatos, thanatos], neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
