Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:8-9
"But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.9.
Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the whole armour [pavoplia, full armor] of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Ephesians 6:13 "Wherefore take [receive] unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
1 Samuel 14:1 "Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father."
Genesis 24:15 "And the servant brought forth jewels (armor) of silver, and jewels (armor) of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah (type of the church): he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things (not armor)."
WEAPONS
