Text: Romans 8:33-34 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
CHRIST DIED, RATHER, IS RISEN
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (our mercy seat)
CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST
Hebrews 9:11-12 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, . . . 12 . . . by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, . . .
WHO SHALL CHARGE THE JUSTIFIED?
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge [future active, call in as a debt, accuse] of God's elect? It is God that justifieth [present active participle, justifying, not an event].
THE JUST ARE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without [in addition to] the deeds of the law. (obey the moral law to be just)
FAITH IN HIS BLOOD
Romans 3:25 Whom (Christ) God hath set forth to be
a propitiation [mercy seat, (a place of reconciliation) 16 times in
lxx] through faith in his blood (on the mercy seat)
JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved [future passive] from wrath (at the judgment seat) through him.
HIS BLOOD SHED FOR MANY
Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission [liberty, deliverance] of sins.
MORE SAVED THAN CALLED
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, . . .
MANY OF THE SAVED ARE CALLED
Matthew 22:14 For many are [the] called, but few are [the] chosen.
NOT ALL ARE FIRSTBORN
Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, . . .
BLOOD APPLIED WHERE THEY WALK
Exodus 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
THE BLOOD PROTECTED MANY
Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token . . . when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, . . .
THE CALLED AND THE ELECT
1 John 1:7 But if we [may] walk [present active subjunctive] in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son (justifies) cleanseth [present active indicative] us from all sin. (The blood keeps us from perishing)
THE SAINTS IN THE LIGHT
Colossians 1:12-13 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in [the] light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [transferred, or moved] us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
WHAT IS THE LIGHT?
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world (Israel): he that followeth [present active participle] me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of [the] life.
THE ONES FOLLOWING WILL NOT PERISH
John 10:27-28 My sheep hear [present active] my voice, and I know [present active] them, and they follow [present active] me: 28 And I give unto them eternal [age-lasting] life; and they shall never perish
THE LIGHT, PAUL’S GOSPEL
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world [age] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel [the gospel of the glory] of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
THE GOSPEL OF THE GLORY

THE LIGHT REBUKES THE LAWLESS
John 3:20-21 For every one that doeth [present active participle, practices] evil hateth [present active] the light (the kingdom message), neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved [convict, rebuke]. 21 But he that doeth [present active participle] [the] truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
THE TRUTH, THINGS TO COME
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of [the] truth, is come, he will guide you into all [the] truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
A BROTHER IN THE LIGHT
1 John 2:9 He (a brother) that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
A BROTHER
Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
ONE WHO ENTERS INTO THE KINGDOM
Matthew 7:21 Not every one . . shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
WILL NOT HAVE AGE-LASTING LIFE
1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal [age-lasting] life abiding in him.
GENTILES, WITHOUT THE BLOOD

ALL CONFESS THEIR SINS

THE JUST SHALL HAVE GLORY
Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous [just} shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
