Text:  Romans 8:33-34  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.  34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

JUSTIFIED IN THE PERFECT TENSE

Justification is the perfect tense is not found with respect the common salvation in Romans or in other epistles. No one has been justified and continues to be justified.

THE PERFECT TENSE

Expresses the results of the action to continue to exist. "I have washed" The perfect tense may be represented by a dot and a line (•---------------).

THE JUSTIFIED ARE NOT CHARGEABLE

Romans 8:33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge [future active indicative] of God's elect? It is God that justifieth [present active participle, is justifying (the elect)].

JUSTIFIED BY FAITH

Galatians 3:24  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

CONTINUE IN THE FAITH

Colossians 1:22-23  . . . to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:  23  If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel…

PLEASING GOD BY FAITH

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: …

JUSTIFIED BY GRACE

Titus 3:7  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

 CONTINUE IN HIS GRACE

Acts 13:43  … Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

THAT WE MIGHT BE JUSTIFIED

Galatians 2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified [present passive, being justified) by the works of the law (alone), but by [through] the faith (abstract noun without mood) of [from] Jesus Christ, even we have believed [aorist active indicative, common salvation] in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified [aorist passive subjunctive] by [out from] the faith of [from] Christ, and not by the works of (moral) the law (alone): for by the works of the (moral) law (alone) shall no flesh be justified [future passive indicative].

CEREMONIAL LAW

Acts 10:28  And he (Peter) said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, (with) one of another nation;

JUSTIFICATION, CONTINUOUS ACTION

Romans 8:33  . . .It is God that justifieth [present active]

JUSTIFICATION IS ON GOING

Acts 13:39  And by him all that believe [present active] are justified [present passive, being justified] from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the [moral and ceremonial] law of Moses. (alone)

BEING JUSTIFIED BY GRACE

Romans 3:24  Being justified [present passive participle] freely by his grace through the redemption (deliverance from bondage) that is in Christ Jesus:

HE IS JUSTIFYING THOSE OF FAITH

Romans 3:26  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier [present active participle] of him which believeth [faith, a noun] in Jesus.

THE ONES BELIEVING WILL BE JUSTIFIED

Romans 4:5  But to him that worketh [present middle, for himself] not, but believeth [present active participle, noun equivalent to faith] on him that justifieth [present active participle] the ungodly, his faith (believeth, present active participle) is counted for righteousness.

ONLY BELIEVE TO BE SAVED, NOT FAITH

Acts 16:30-31  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  31  And they said, Believe [aorist active] on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

IT TAKES BOTH

Galatians 3:11  But that no man is justified [present passive indicative] by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

JUST LIVE BY FAITH

Romans 3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified [present passive infinitive, to be justified] by faith without [cwriv, in addition to] the deeds of the (moral) law. (the just)

TO BE JUST

Luke 1:6  And they were both righteous [just] before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances [righteous acts, same word in Rev 19:8] of the Lord blameless.

SOME CAN’T SEE IT TAKES BOTH

James 2:21-24  Was not Abraham our father justified by works (of obedience), when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?  22  Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works (of obedience) was faith made perfect?  23  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham (already saved) believed God (Gen. 15), and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.  24  Ye see [present active] then how that by works (of obedience) a man is justified [present passive indicative], and not by faith only [alone].

RESURRECTION RATHER THAN DEATH

Romans 8:34  Who is he that condemneth [future active indicative, shall condemn]? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession [present active indicative] for us.

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS

1 Corinthians 15:3  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

HE DIED FOR ALL

2 Corinthians 5:14  . . . we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

RAISED FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION

Romans 4:25  Who was delivered for our offences [sins], and was raised again for our justification.

BECAUSE CHRIST IS RISEN

1 Corinthians 15:17-20  And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.  18  Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.  19  If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.  20  But now is Christ risen from the dead, . . .

GOD RAISED UP JESUS

Acts 13:33  God hath fulfilled the same (the promise, v. 32, age-lasting life, 1 John 2.25) unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

 TO BE OUR HIGH PRIEST

Hebrews 5:5-6  So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.  6  As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever [age] after the order of Melchisedec.

OF GOOD THINGS TO COME

Hebrews 9:11  But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, . . .

THE GOOD THINGS THAT ARE COMING

Hebrews 9:15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, … (that) they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

OUR HIGH PRIEST HAS THE POWER

Jude 1:24  Now unto him that is able [present passive, the power] to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

AND A WELL DONE

Matthew 25:23  His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into (not just see) the joy of thy lord.
