Text: Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
MINISTRY FOR US
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth [present middle] our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought [present active, it behoveth]: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession [present active] for us with groanings [here and Acts 7:34, in Egypt (with emotions)] which cannot be uttered.
OUR, WE
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
WE TOO GROAN WAITING
Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
ONE OF OUR INFIRMITIES
Romans 11:33-34 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
DEEP THINGS OF GOD

THE HOLY GHOST
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name (for the word of God), he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
THE TRUTH
John 14:17 Even the Spirit of [the] truth; whom [which] the world (Israel) cannot receive, because it (Israel) seeth [present active discerneth] him [it] not [emphatic], neither knoweth [present active] him [it]: but ye know [present active] him [it]; for he dwelleth [present active] with [para, beside] you, and [it] shall be in you.
THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL

EXPEDIENT FOR ME TO LEAVE

REPROVE THE WORLD
John 16:8 And when he (Holy Spirit) is come, he will reprove [rebuke] the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
OF SIN
John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe [present active] not on me;

John 16:2 They (rulers of the synagogues] shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
BELIEVE
John 6:64 But there are some of you that believe [present active] not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed [present active participle] not, and who should betray him (Judas did not believe in the present tense].
SIN
John 9:38-41 And he said, Lord, I believe [present active]. And he worshipped him. 39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world [Israel], that they which see [present active participle] not might see [present active subjunctive]; and that they which see [present active participle (that say they see)] might be made blind. 40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? 41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say [present active indiciative], We see [present active indicative]; therefore your sin remaineth.
OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father (as high priest), and ye see me no more;
RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH BY FAITH
Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe [present active]: for there is no difference:
OF JUDGMENT
John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince [ruler] of this world [Israel] is judged.
THE PRINCE

DISQUALIFIED

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, . . .
THE GOOD THINGS TO COME
Hebrews 9:15 . . . he is the mediator of the new testament, . . . (that) they which are called might receive the promise of eternal [age] inheritance.
ACCORDING TO GOD
Romans 8:27 And he [the one, God v. 3] that searcheth the hearts knoweth [perfect active, have seen] what is the mind of the Spirit, because he (the Spirit) maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
GOD WILL PERFECT HIS WILL IN US
Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting [age-lasting] covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
GOD IS WORKING IN US
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh [present active] in you both to will [present active] and to do [present active] of his good pleasure.
GRIEVE NOT THE HOLY SPIRIT
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
