Text: Romans
5:12-15 Wherefore, as by one man sin
entered into the world, and death by
sin; and so death passed upon all
men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but
sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even
over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who
is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so
also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead,
much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man,
Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
COMMON
SALVATION
Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write
unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to
write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the
faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
BELIEVE
TO BE SAVED
Acts 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what
must I do to be saved? 31 And
they said, Believe [aorist active
imperative, (not present active imperative)] on the Lord Jesus Christ, and
thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
AGELASTING
LIFE A REWARD
Romans 2:6-9 Who will render
[reward, pay] to every man according to his deeds [works]:
FOR
GOOD WORKS
7 To them who by patient
continuance in well doing seek [present
active participle] for glory and
honour and immortality [incorruption], eternal [agelasting] life:
REWARD
FOR DISOBEDIENCE
8
But unto them that
are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey
unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
FURTHER
JUDGMENT OF THE SOUL
9 Tribulation and anguish,
upon every soul of man that doeth [present
active, practices] evil, of the (saved)
Jew first, and also of the (saved) Gentile;
AGELASTING
LIFE IS REAPED
Galatians 6:8-9 For he that soweth to his flesh
shall of the flesh reap corruption [ruin]; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the
Spirit reap life everlasting [agelasting].
IF
WE DON’T FAINT
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, if we faint not.
SO
GREAT SALVATION
Hebrews 2:2-3 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast,
and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; 3 How shall we escape (the just reward of
judgment), if we neglect so great
salvation; which at the first
began to be spoken by the Lord, and
was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
JESUS
AT THE FIRST PREACHED
Mark 1:14-15 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the
gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent [present active imperative]
ye, and believe [present active imperative,
(not aorist active imperative)] the gospel. (preached to save
SALVATION
FOR THE SAVED IN CHRIST
2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's
sakes, that they may also obtain the
salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal [agelasting] glory.
AT
THE POINT OF FAINTING
2 Corinthians
1:8-10 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our
trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired
even of [the] life [present
active infinitive]:
SENTENCE
OF THE DEATH
9 But we had the (judicial)
sentence of [the] death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God
which raiseth the dead:
SO
GREAT A DEATH
10 Who delivered [aorist middle] us from so great a death, and doth
deliver [present middle]: in
whom we trust that he will yet deliver
[future middle] us;
DEATH AND AGELASTING LIFE ARE OPPOSITES
1 John 3:14-15 We know that we have passed [to move] from
[ek, out from] [the] death unto [the]
life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth [present active (have not
moved)] in [the] death [qanatov].
THE ONES BELIEVING
John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth [present active] my word, and believeth [present active participle] on him [the Father] that sent me, hath [esteems] everlasting [agelasting] life, and shall not come into
condemnation ; but is passed [perfect
active, moved] from [the] death
unto [the] life.
CONDEMNED ALREADY
John 3:18 He
that believeth [present active
participle] on him is not condemned: but he that believeth [present active participle]
not is condemned [perfect passive] already, because he hath not believed
in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer:
and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
KINGDOM
NOT GUARANTEED
2 Peter 1:10-11 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence
to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting
[agelasting] kingdom of our
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
BLESSED
FAMILY INHERIT
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his
right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit
the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
INHERITANCE, FAMILY
Luke 12:13 And one of the company said unto him, Master,
speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
UNJUST
IN THE FAMILY DO NOT INHERIT
1 Corinthians
6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous
[unjust] shall not inherit the

drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall

AGE-LASTING
LIFE IS INHERITED
Matthew 19:28-29 And Jesus said unto them (the apostles),
Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed
[aorist, (and did not stop)] me, in the regeneration (the kingdom of
heaven) when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also
shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren,
or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's
sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall
inherit everlasting life.
