Romans 1:28-29 "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge [epiginwskw, deeper knowledge], God gave them over to a reprobate [disapproved] mind, to do [present active] those things which are not convenient [fit]; 29. Being filled with all unrighteousness [unjust, disobedience], . . ."
Romans 1:32 "Who knowing the [just] judgment of God, that they which commit [present active, practice] such things are worthy of death [qanatov, (soul death)], not only do [present active, continue to do] the same, but have pleasure [present active, continued to think well] in them that do [present active, practice] them."
Romans 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [present active, hold down] the truth in unrighteousness;
Luke 11:52 "Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in [kingdom] yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered."

Romans 1:19 “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them (that hold down the truth); for God hath showed it unto them (that hold down the truth).
