Read Romans 1:1-7

Text: Romans 1:5  “By [through, by means of] whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:”

"BY WHOM" -  pronoun, genitive singular

Romans 1:4  "And declared [to be] the Son of God [genitive singular] with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:"

OUR HIGH PRIEST

Hebrews 4:14-15  "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.  15.  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin."

MAKES INTERCESSION

Romans 8:34  "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

TO DELIVER US

Hebrews 7:24-25  "But this man, because he continueth [present active] ever [unto the age], hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25. Wherefore he is able also to save [deliver, protect, preserve] them to the uttermost [completely] that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."

Hebrews 4:16  "Let us therefore come [middle voice, for myself] boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain [active voice] mercy, and find [active voice] grace to help in time of need."

THE POWER OF CHRIST

2 Corinthians 12:9  "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient [enough to be content] for thee: for my strength is made perfect [perfected] in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

NOAH FOUND GRACE

MOSES FOUND GRACE

Exodus 33:12-13  “And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.  13.  Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy people.”

LET GRACE REIGN

Romans 5:21  "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto [leading to] eternal [agelasting] life (in the millennial kingdom) by Jesus Christ our Lord."

HAVE GRACE

Hebrews 12:28-29  "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace [present active subjunctive], whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29. For our God is a consuming fire."

THINGS HOPED FOR

Hebrews 11:1  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence (obedience) of things not seen."

SEEK TO PLEASE HIM

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS

John 14:15  “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

OBEDIENT PLEASE HIM BY FAITH

Romans 1:17  “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just (obedience) shall live by faith.”

THE WORD OF GOD

Luke 8:11  "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God."  we find that the seed is the word of God.

Luke 8:10  "And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand."

OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD

Luke 8:21  "And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it."

BRETHREN OBEY

Matthew 12:50  "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."

TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

Matthew 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth (obedience) the will of my Father which is in heaven.
