THEY HAD A SUBMISSIVE SPIRIT
Philippians 1:4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making [present middle participle] request with joy,
FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL
Philippians 1:5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
THE GOSPEL OF
Act 20:24 the gospel of the grace of God.

Rom 1:1 the gospel of God,
Rom 1:9 the gospel of his Son
Rom 1:16 the gospel of Christ

GOSPEL PREACHED TO JEWS
Acts 16:13-15 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither. 14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened , that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. 15 And when she was baptized, and her household,
Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
PHILIP PREACHED THE KINGDOM
Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Acts 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
GOSPEL PREACHED TO GENTILES
Acts 16:32-33 And they spake [preach, 13:42) unto him the word of the Lord [God], and to all that were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
THE WORD OF GOD
Luke 8:11 The seed (being sown) is the word of God. (the mysteries of the kingdom of God, verse 10)
THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST
Galatians 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
TAUGHT TO PAUL BY REVELATION
Galatians 1:11-12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel (of Christ v.7) which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
THE GOSPEL IS TO THE BELIEVING
Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto [leading to] salvation to every one that believeth [present active participle]; to the (faithful saved) Jew first, and also to the (faithful saved) Greek (Gentiles). 17 For therein (the gospel of Christ) is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
PAULS GOSPEL, CALLING THE SAVED
2 Thessalonians 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining [purchase, acquire) of the glory (our hope) of our Lord Jesus Christ.
BELIEVE, AN EVENT - SALVATION, AN EVENT
Acts 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be
saved? 31 And they said, Believe [aorist] on the Lord
Christ (see NT), and thou shalt be saved, and thy
PAUL, ADDRESSING BRETHREN
1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received [aorist active indicative, do doubt in this verb], and wherein ye stand [perfect active indicative, no doubt in this verb, they have been and continue standing];
YOU ARE BEING SAVED
1 Corinthians 15:2 By which (continuing to stand) also ye are saved [present passive indicative, subject is receiving the action of the verb], if [not a first class conditional] ye keep [present active, kata, hold, ecw, regard or esteem, hold fast 1 Thes. 5:21, Heb 10:23] in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed [aorist active indicative, no doubt in this verb] in vain.
THESE BELIEVED IN VAIN
Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe [present active indicative], and in time of temptation fall away.
THESE ALSO BELIEVED IN VAIN
Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our (brethren, v.1) sins according to the scriptures;
JESUS DIED FOR ALL
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of [the] death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
JESUS WAS THE LAMB OF GOD
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
CHRIST DIED FOR THE CALLED
Hebrews 9:15-17 And for this cause he (Christ, not Jesus. Verses 11,14) is the mediator (executor) of the new testament (his will), that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise (age lasting life, 1 John 2:25) of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament [will] is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator (the one who wrote his will). 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
CHRIST BEAR THE SINS OF THE MANY
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of [the] many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose
again the third day according to the scriptures:
FAITH IS NOT VAIN
1 Corinthians 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
STAND FAST IN THE FAITH
1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
CONTINUE IN HOPE OF THE GOSPEL
Colossians 1:23 continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel,
CONTINUE IN THE FAITH
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
A LIVING HOPE BY CHRIST RESURRECTION
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
