Text: Romans 1:15-16 "So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. 16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

1 Corinthians 1:21 "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that [the] believe [present active participle]."

HOW TO BE SAVED
Acts 16:30-31 "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31. And they said, Believe [aorist active] on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Hebrews 2:3 "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;"
Romans 10:10 "For with the heart man believeth [present active, not aorist] unto [leading to] righteousness; and with the mouth confession [present active, can be stopped] is made unto [leading to] salvation."
